Join our team as a Data Architect and lead the development of state-of-the-art data platforms for our multinational clients. Your expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and technical architecture will be crucial in creating scalable and efficient data solutions. Our projects span a variety of use cases, including data warehouse and lakehouse implementations, IoT and data streaming setups, and advanced AI applications. At reeeliance, we have a special focus on Data Vault architectures in fast data scenarios, streaming data in near-real time within our data stack. We serve diverse industries such as manufacturing, consumer products, healthcare, banking, and insurance.

Your responsibilities

In this role you have the chance to define, implement and govern data modeling standards, best practices and guidelines across our customer projects and within reeeliance
You operate as a guide to our internal and external customers to generate solution design sand architectures to meet business needs
As the Data architect you grasp the customer need and big picture and drive the transformation of this into a fitting data architecture and infrastructure implementation
You are familiar with domain maps, semantic models and business data models
You guide our clients and your colleagues along the data modeling process from domain maps, over data business all the way to the actual performance optimization on a technical level
You own, design and develop the data models with the ETL Pipelines and architectures we need within the operational business lines and support its data analytics and reporting needs
You are the conductor of client facing workshops both with business and IT representatives
You established a proven track record on successful data warehousing projects including an end-to-end architecture implementation and the utilization of various data modeling methodologies such as Data Vault or dimensional modeling
As the Data architect you embrace test driven development and execute the testing life cycle with your teammates
You like to stay on top of IT trends and new technologies and enjoy sharing with you team members
As our ambassador you actively participate in conferences, meet ups and other networking events and support sales and marketing activities of reeeliance

Our requirements

3-5 years data integration modeling experience, preferable Data Vault
Experience with Databricks or Snowflake
Knowledge of programming languages Python and SQL
In-depth understanding of data management principles
Experience gathering and analyzing data requirements
Knowledge of analytical system development, including system development life cycle, agile approaches and requirements gathering, design and testing techniques
Problem-solving attitude
Strong logical and mathematical thinking capabilities
Independent working style
Ability to coach the technical development of less senior developers
A university degree in computer science, mathematics, or related discipline
Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong & discerning listener. Another language skill is a plus
